Anuntat initial pentru data de 30 septembrie, sumedenia de bug-uri si erori din iOS 13, a determinat Apple sa lanseze iOS 13.1 cu sase zile mai devreme.
La numai cateva ore dupa lansarea versiunii finale de iOS 13, foarte multi posesori de iPhone s-au plans pe forumuri si retelele sociale de o serie de probleme de functionare. Atat ale aplicatiilor cat si ale sistemului de operare in sine si UI.
Erori ale aplicatiei “Mail” care impiedicau descarcarea in background a continutului mesajelor, notificari duplicate, campuri de subiect si destinatar lipsa, dificultati in selectare si marcarea cu “flag” a mesajelor, sunt doar cateva din rezolvarile aduse de iOS 13.1.
Pe langa aplicatia Mail au mai fost vizate si aplicatiile: Reminder (utilizatorii nu puteau sa partajeze liste in iCloud), Notes (rezultatele din cautari nu erau afisate si nici sincronizarea cu alte device-uri nu se facea mereu – testat de noi), Calendar (zilele de nastere apareau duplicate sau de mai multe ori), Camera, iCloud, Lock Screen.
Alte imbunatatiri au fost aduse pentru posesorii noilor modele de iPhone. iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro si iPhone 11 Pro Max. AirDrop cu tehnologia Ultra Wideband este acum functionala pe aceste device-uri, sugestii de automatizari in aplicatia Shortcuts, posibilitatea de a selecta cu cine sa se conecteze AirDrop (iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro sau iPhone 11 Pro Max sau alt dispozitiv cu noul chip U1 cu Ultra Wideband).

* Notifications for when Battery Health is unable to verify if a new, genuine Apple battery is in iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and later
This update also includes bug fixes and other improvements. This update:
* Adds a link to the Me tab in Find My to allow a guest to sign in and locate a missing device
* Includes notifications for when the display on your iPhone is unable to be verified as a new, genuine Apple display in iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max
* Addresses issues in Mail that could cause incorrect download counts, missing senders and subjects, difficulty selecting or flagging threads, duplicate notifications or overlapping fields
* Fixes an issue in Mail that may prevent background downloading of email messages
* Addresses an issue that could prevent Memoji from correctly tracking facial expressions in Messages
* Fixes an issue where photos might not display in the Messages details view
* Fixes an issue in Reminders that prevented some users from sharing iCloud lists

iOS 13.1 poate fi instalat pe toate device-urile iPhone, incepand cu iPhone 6s sau model mai nou, iar iPadOS 13.1 este compatibil iPad Air 2 sau mai noi, iPad 4 mini sau modele mai noi.
Update-ul se poate face din “Settings” → “General” → “Software Update”. Minim 50% baterie (sau conectat la o sursa de incarcare) si conexiune Wi-Fi.
