Although there have been voices that say that with this feature, Apple does nothing but use AI to collect as much data and user characteristics as possible, I say let's not be so dramatic. At the moment, HomePod owners know that Apple already has the voice fingerprint of every member of the house where the smart speaker is located. It can provide personalized answers and execute commands depending on the person it interacts with.
The "Personalized Voices for Text Messaging" feature would greatly help people with reading or motor disabilities.
It is not known at the moment if the new capability will be introduced on iOS 17 or if Apple will wait for the release of the feature that allows text messages to be read with the sender's voice, until the presentation of a new generation of iPhone.
