Only the new Apple chip offers a better and faster processing of the captures, but for someone who does not have extravagant photo claims, it is not an argument if it is worth buying the iPhone 14 if you have an iPhone 13 or iPhone 12.
In terms of size and design, it is announced that the iPhone 14 will be almost identical to the previous iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. Maybe just some new color options. Green, purple, white, blue, black and red. There will no longer be a pink version. This will be replaced with purple. Otherwise, the aluminum finishes will be kept in the same design.
On the iPhone 14, a stronger battery and a greater autonomy are announced compared to the previous models. It seems that the new A16 chips, which also ensure lower energy consumption, will only be present in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Therefore, battery power is the only one iPhone 14 buyers can rely on for autonomy.
As a simple opinion, Apple will have a lot of work to convince iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 owners to make the step to the new iPhone model. The camera does not bring major hardware innovations either, to represent an asset of the new model.
