Many Apple fans are willing to CHANGE an de an iPhone with the newest model released. But here we have to make a small distinction and wonder if it is worth buying iPhone 14 if you have iPhone 13 or iPhone 12. We are not saying iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. We are talking about the standard model.

This year prices for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max they will definitely be at least $100 higher at launch. We cannot criticize Apple for this price increase, because we all know how all countries are doing with inflation and increased energy prices.

It will be a real challenge for Apple this year to convince iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 owners to upgrade to the iPhone 14. Although "upgrade" is a bit much, taking into account that there will be no big changes compared to the previous models. Just as the iPhone 13 did not bring big changes compared to the previous model, the iPhone 12. Only a significantly stronger battery with a 30-minute longer autonomy than the previous model and a charging speed of 50% in 30 min, compared to 35% in 30 min, which the iPhone 12 has.

The camera and display technology have remained unchanged and apparently, there will not be a stronger camera on the iPhone 14 either. Only the new Apple chip offers a better and faster processing of the captures, but for someone who does not have extravagant photo claims, it is not an argument if it is worth buying the iPhone 14 if you have an iPhone 13 or iPhone 12.

In terms of size and design, it is announced that the iPhone 14 will be almost identical to the previous iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. Maybe just some new color options. Green, purple, white, blue, black and red. There will no longer be a pink version. This will be replaced with purple. Otherwise, the aluminum finishes will be kept in the same design.

On the iPhone 14, a stronger battery and a greater autonomy are announced compared to the previous models. It seems that the new A16 chips, which also ensure lower energy consumption, will only be present in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Therefore, battery power is the only one iPhone 14 buyers can rely on for autonomy.

As a simple opinion, Apple will have a lot of work to convince iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 owners to make the step to the new iPhone model. The camera does not bring major hardware innovations either, to represent an asset of the new model. And if the starting prices will be higher than what Apple has accustomed us to in recent years, you will think twice if it is worth buying the iPhone 14 if you have an iPhone 13 or iPhone 12.

For these little novelties, I don't know if it's worth buying iPhone 14 if you have iPhone 13 or iPhone 12.

The real novelties of the iPhone will be present on the Pro and Pro Max models. First of all, the famous notch that appeared with the iPhone X will disappear. It will be replaced with an oval opening in the form of a pill, in which the front camera, sensors and indicators for the microphone and camera will make their place.

It remains to be seen after September 7 what opinions Apple fans will have, after the new iPhone 14 models will be officially launched and all the technical and design specifications will be available.
