We all know that they are people dependent on selfie who do not miss a day without taking a picture and posting it on social networks. The more successful selfie, the more the author receives more "appreciations" from friends. This practice has entered the attention of psychologists for some time, who talk about this practice as a pretty serious problem.
It is really a serious problem, if we look at a report recently published by the researchers US National Library of Medicine (The National Library of Medicine of the United States), in which it is shown that in 2011-2017 they registered 259 Deaths globally, following a selfie done in dangerous places. See here the official report.
In Romania, there were some cases with teenage adolescents deadly trying on the news. to make a successful selfie on trains or on metal bridges near high voltage lines. Not to mention road accidents transmitted live on Facebook by the victims.
The most common deaths among those who sought ”extreme selfie"They took place in the top of the mountains, pe tall buildings, langa LAKES or in the means of transport. But there are few cases in which teenagers have lost their lives trying to make a selfie near a wild animal, of one high voltage lines or handling firearms.
To prevent these accidents and reduce the number of deaths, researchers recommend marking dangerous areas with ads. "NO selfie zones". It is unlikely to see at distances of 100 meters ads" no selfie zones "on the railway, but in mountains, on dangerous rocks and in other places frequented by tourists, these ads would help.
The report of the Farmers from the US National Library of Medicine also shows that most deaths were registered in India, Russia, USA and Pakistan, and about 72.5% of the victims are men.
Most selfies are posted on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter social networks.
