At the previous tutorial we had a small problem when we tried to edit an PNG for the cover image of the article. After the import of a .png file in Adobe Photoshop 19.1.1, .png image appeared totally distorted. Both the editing and the export of the final file were impossible to achieve.
First of all, I checked if it was a hardware problem. The graphics card of the MacBook Pro yields quite hard, and the experience of the years spent on Macos showed us that such problems are almost non-existent.
From what seems this distortion of .png images in Photoshop appeared after an update to version 19.1.1 for macos, and fortunately the solution is quite simple.
How we solve the problem of distorting files .png in Photoshop
1. In Photoshop Cc we go to the menu: "Preferences" → "Plug-ins ...".
2. We get the option ”Load Extensions Panels"
3. We close and open Photoshop again. Everything should go normally. In our case it worked.
The problem appeared on a MacBook Pro 2017 / 15 inch / Touch Bar.
