Shortly after launching the final version for the general public of iOS 12.1, Apple offers developers the beta version of iOS 12.1.1. As the version name shows, iOS 12.1.1 will not bring major visible changes, but it is an important update for solving some inconveniences on iPhone and iPad. Especially on the new iPhone XS, XS Max, iPhone XR and the new generations of iPad.

In the new beta version of iOS 12.1.1 we can observe re -entertime facetime Photo. The feature withdrawn by Apple in iOS 12.0 and tested several times in iOS 12.1 Beta variants. Also, the experience in the FaceTime application was improved by bringing Mute and flip the room at hand. In iOS 12.0, Apple had hidden these buttons, and to make them visible the users had to make a slide on the screen.
The Live Photos function has returned, but to be used it is necessary for both devices to be updated to the latest version of iOS.

The "Effects" button remained, but it was reduced to make room for four buttons. Effects, mute, flip camera, and end call. The Live Photos capture button is taken over the restricted frame.

Facetime Live Photos is an optional function that can be activated or deactivated in Settings → FaceTime → Live Photos. That this optional functional option requires all participants in the conversation to use iOS 12.1.1 or a newer version.

iOS 12.1.1 was launched on 01-11-2018 for developers, and by the end of this year it will be available to the general public.
