3D Touch or Force Touch, is a technology introduced by Apple in September 2014 on iPhone devices, with the launch of the iPhone 6S.

What is haptic touch and how it works?
Haptic Touch is an almost similar feature 3D Touch, but this is not detects the strength on the screen but only the duration. Thus, the function is activated after a long press and not after a firm press.
The feature was added by Apple on the iPhone XR as a 3D touch substitute. Function that could not be included on this new iPhone model. However, Haptic Touch is only available for the flashlight, the camera application on the main screen and for some basic iPhone options. Haptic Touch does not provide support for Twitter, Instagram or other applications.
