There are a few months until we will see the first official preview iOS 12, but that does not prevent designers from designing more and more interesting concepts.
A concept of iOS 12 that caught our attention these days, redesigns the Music application of iOS. The concept brings the much expected Dark Mode which was requested by thousands of iPhone and iPad owners, brings a minimalist interface but with a much more effective control for volume based on 3D Touch functions, playing songs from the playlist with a simple swipe and brings back CoverFlow.

Cover Flow was highly appreciated by users and many were disappointed by its withdrawal with the release of iOS 8.4 in 2015. The new version imagined by Laity, brings a Cover Flow in more vivid colors and with fluid effects.

The concept does not look bad, but there are few chances that it will be considered by Apple. Over the years there have been concepts that have redesigned the iOS system in many ways, but very little has materialized on the iOS interface.

Regarding iOS 12, it is unlikely that we will see major interface changes in the "Lock Screen", "Home Screen" or in the Apple applications on iOS. iOS 12 will be focused more on correcting some current errors and bugs, performance and reliability.
