Apple has launched an important update of IOS for all owners iPhone (iPhone 5s or newer), iPad (iPad air or newer) and iPod Touch (6 gen).

Apparently, this update solves two serious security issues recently appeared on iOS devices. According to a Google researcher, the leader of the Google Project Zero team, the vulnerabilities were present through applications such as Twitter and were intensely exploited on the previous iOS version. These vulnerabilities allowed the application a wider access to the basic functions of the devices.

Apple has not provided much information about these security vulnerabilities, but the good part is that they have been resolved and urge all users to update to iOS 12.1.4.

At the same time, a bug of facetime, reported two weeks ago, was solved. Through this bug, the initializer of a group call on Facetime, determines the invited persons to respond automatically to the appeal. Thus, the micrifine of the appelled was opened automatically and could be listened to everything in the environment in the vicinity of the device.

The update is available for users around the world, via "seetings" → "general" → "software update" or through iTunes.
