During the event release iPhone 8, iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3, Apple TV 4K and the new wireless charger AirPower, Apple has not discussed anything about MacOS High Sierra nor about the next generation of MacBook and iMac / iMac Pro which will enter the market at the end of this year.

However at the end of the event at Steve Jobs Theater, the macOS High Sierra presentation page has been updated, and here we find the date from which Mac users will be able to upgrade the operating system.

So, starting with September 25, 2017, macOS High Sierra will be able to be installed on all compatible Mac and MacBook devices.

MacOS Compatibility High Sierra

The new operating system is a continuation of the MacOS Sierra and it will not bring radical changes, but there are many novelties present. From redesigned Apple applications, functionality to changing the format for data storage (core storage), new technologies for graphics and video. So that applications like Photoshop and Pixelmator will run better on the new operating system.

MacOS Hight Sierra can be installed and run on all systems Mac and MacBook produced in 2009 (late 2009), Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, Mac mini and Mac Pro produced after 2010.

I've been writing passionately since 2004 about Windows and Linux operating systems, and since 2010 I've become a fan of Apple University. I'm currently writing tutorials for Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and other Apple devices.
