Almost two weeks after Apple announced the future service Apple TV+, what will compete with Netflix on the online movie side, Netflix application for IOS It loses an important feature.
According to a statement given on Netflix's official website, iOS users will no longer be able to play the content by Airplay, due to technical limitations.
Netflix does not offer an exact reason for this change that affects a good part of iOS users, but it is speculated that it would be a movement after Apple recently announced the launch this autumn of the Apple TV+, which will be a competitor for Netflix.
The Airplay icon was eliminated by everything from the Netflix application, and if you are trying to activate from Control Center, the message will appear ”Cannot play title, please try again later” .
The good part is that many smart TVs have the built-in Netflix application, but there are enough of many users who used Airplay as a way to send Netflix content on iOS to TV. Smart TV models from Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic come with Netflix installed.
It remains to be seen if it is a technical problem or Netflix will add again airplay for iOS devices.
