Unfortunately, if you want to see what is the health of the iPad battery, it is not as simple as in iPhone or Apple Watch devices. You will need the use of a third -party application installed on Mac or Windows computer, to which you connect iPad via the data cable.
I have shown in another tutorial, how you can see the wear of the battery at iPhone and Apple Watch. For both devices, the health of the battery is very easy to check from the operating system reports (iOS, respectively watchos), without the need to install any application.
Even if it is not as easy, fortunately, to see the health of the battery (Battery Health), you can use applications that are very easy and for which you do not need to pay, if you do not intend to use them in the future. One of the most effective applications to check the wear of an iPad battery, is IMAZING.

With the IMAZING app you can check the health of the battery in the iPad in just a few minutes, whether you are a Mac user or you have a computer with Windows operating system. You have to have the iPad and data cable at hand to connect it to your computer.
1. Download the IMAZING app. No complementary, providing email address or other data. Install the IMAZING app on Mac or Windows PC and roll it in version Trial.
2. After installing the application, connect iPad to your computer (Mac or Windows PC).
3. In the Imazing app, click on the battery sign in the lower right corner.
In the open window, all the information about the iPad battery appears immediately. The maximum battery capacity when it was new, the maximum charging capacity at the moment, the number of charging cycles and the health of the battery at the iPad.
In the case of the above device, the maximum battery charging capacity is 92%. This means that the wear of the iPad battery is 8%.
"Battery Effective Max. Charge: 6972 mAh (91.8%)"This means that from the maximum capacity of 7596 mAh, the battery can only be charged up to 6972 mAh.
"Battery Health" over 80%, is considered a good level of iPad battery health and there are no concern that you consider changing the battery of the device.
