Although this moment seems far away, Elon Musk has confirmed in a post on the X network (former Twitter) that the official Tesla app will be launched. Although Musk has not specified a deadline for launching the application, many Tesla car owners have been asking for this feature for several years.

Currently, Tesla car owners can use the iOS app to check the level of car battery, opening and closing car, plus many other diagnosis, location and management options.

This novelty comes from a post on the X network, in which the prietor of a Tesla car complains that it was stuck outside the car after the iPhone has closed. Even though the situation was not too pleasant, Elon Musk replied in the affirmative when asked if the official Tesla app for Apple Watch was. This would be useful primarily for opening the car when iPhone is no longer working.

It is not yet clear what plans Tesla has in this regard, but the Apple Watch is already supporting the ability to unlock vehicles even when the battery is downloaded-a feature that is present on the iPhone. To implement this functionality, Tesla should change the design of cars to integrate the support for the Apple's Carkey feature, which is not good news for those who have older cars.
