The year 2024 is very likely to bring more RAM to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. According to the latest rumors, it appears that Apple's iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will both have 8GB of RAM, an increase from the 6GB of RAM in the case of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

In a research note with investment firm Haitong International Securities, technology analyst Jeff Pu reiterated his belief that all iPhone 16 models will be equipped with 8GB of RAM. This RAM upgrade is sure to improve multitasking performance on your iPhone.

As for the iPhone 15, the RAM configuration is as follows:

  • iPhone 15: 6GB
  • iPhone 15 Plus: 6GB
  • iPhone 15 Pro: 8GB

According to rumors, more RAM will be installed on the iPhone 16:

  • iPhone 16: 8GB

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are also expected to support Wi-Fi 6E, which operates on the 6 GHz band, enabling faster wireless speeds and reducing signal interference with a compatible router. For the iPhone 15 range, Wi-Fi 6E is limited to the Pro models.
