One problem often retrieved the devices iPhone cu small storage space, those with 16 GB, is lack of available space.
The applications have developed a lot, and those of social networking Like Facebook, WhatsApp and games get to consume a lot from the storage space of an iPhone.
When there is no available storage space on the iPhone, alerts begin to appear that announces the user that it is time to delete the less important content or uninstall the applications and games used very rarely.

"Storage Almost Full"It is a notification that appears when you have no space even to take a picture with iPhone or iPad.

"Cannot Take Photo"With the invitation to go to"Settings"To administer the storage space of the iPhone.

How we identify applications and files occupy the most space on your iPhone or iPad

See which are files that occupy our most storage space on an iPhone or iPad, we go to "Settings” → “General” → “iPhone Storage“.
At the top of the screen will be graphically displayed the space occupied by photos, applications, e-mail messages, media files and "others".

As seen in the image above, there are situations in which this "more” (other) occupies a huge storage space on your iPhone. The above screen is from a iPhone 6s cu 16GB storage, but the problem is also found on iPhone 7, iPhone 6 or iPhone 8.

What are the "others" files in the iPhone Storage and how can they be erased

Since the report in the iPhone Storage was not too conclusive and did not clarify which and where are those "others" files whose size occupy a significant space on the iPhone, I connected the iPhone to an MacBook cu iTunes Installed and I went to the iPhone details in the application.

The space called "Other"In the iPhone Storage I am actually files and documents stored on the iPhone. They can be caches of Safari browser, files saved games or by other installed applications on the iPhone. In addition to these files are added and those of icloud which were stored on the iPhone through the "Files" application. Normally, after a while, these files in iCloud should only remain at the "shortcut" level on the iPhone, to be downloaded only when the user wants to access them.

How we delete the "Other" files on the iPhone or iPad

Unfortunately this step is Reset iPhone and delete all applications and games Installed, but if before this reset is a backup (a backup), you can restore all the content without having to manually reinstall your applications.

Step 1 - How do we back up all the contents of iPhone or iPad

Connect iPhone or iPad to a PC or Mac on which you have the latest version of iTunes, then click on the connected device.
On the iPhone details page in iTunes, go to "backups", selct where you want to make a spare copy (in iCloud or computer), then press "back up now" and wait until the backup process is completed.

Step 2 - How we reset the iPhone at the manufacturing settings and we delete all the contents on it

We disconnect iPhone from iTunes then we go to "Settings” → “General” → “Reset"(Penultimate option below) →"Erase All Content and Settings“.

When that is what "Erase All Content and Settings" will be required to be required iPhone lock and iCloud password. Follow the required steps and wait until the data deletion process is completed and reset. During this operation the device will be unavailable.

After resetting and resetting the iPhone you have two possibilities. Either manually reinstall the applications and restore its settings, or connect iPhone to the computer that has been backup and use the "Restore" option.

FINAL SONG This operation, go to "settings" → "general" → "iPhone storage". You will notice that you have more storage space available and that "Other"It occupies much less of it.
